Row Cleaners

Martin floating row cleaners have been the standard in the industry for many years. With optional depth bands, scrapers, and spike tooth or razer treader wheels, Martin row cleaners help cut through the toughest residue to offer superior seed placement without disturbance.

Smart clean offers an air cylinder on your floating row cleaners to keep row cleaners from digging too much and allowing them to float. Can also apply pressure to break ground crust and move residue out of way.

Planter Frame Transfer

Planters with Central fill delivery systems can be extremely heavy in the center. The transfer system is a bolt on frame kit with cylinders that push weight to the outside wings. Simple PWM control placed in cab.

In 1990, Mr. Howard Dean Martin, with the help of his family, started a new business manufacturing Martin Row Cleaners which he invented. From 1990-1998, he operated on his 40 acre farm located at 169 Allegre Road just 4 miles north of Elkton, Kentucky. The office was located on the second floor of the home with Row Cleaners being made and shipped from his farm shop. In addition to family, there were three part time employees.

In 1999, a new facility was constructed in the city limits of Elkton. From that point on, the business expanded and continues to grow. In 2010, Martin purchased adjoining property and in 2011 began preparing the land to expand the manufacturing facility.

Today the business employs more than 40 full and part-time workers which design, manufacture, market, and ship the Martin-Till Planting System throughout the United States and abroad from a 48,000 square foot state of the art manufacturing facility.
